Caprix drafts, prices, checks and exports Bills of Quantities in SMM2 format from a short brief, so you get a tender-ready BOQ without formatting it line by line. SMM3 support is in development and is not available yet.
Where do the construction unit rates and prices come from?
Caprix works with Malaysian construction cost data across material, labour and machinery. AI Ask answers rate questions in plain language grounded in that data, and AI Trends tracks how construction costs and tender prices have moved over time.
Who is Caprix built for?
Caprix is built for quantity surveyors, estimators, contractors and builders, architects, project managers, and students working on construction projects in Malaysia — anyone who prices the build.
Can Caprix monitor construction material prices for me?
Yes. The AI Track agent lets you pin up to 10 rates — steel, cement, ready-mix concrete, labour or machinery — to a price watchlist. Each card shows the current price, the change in value and percent, and a six-period trendline, and updates itself when a newer period of data is published. AI Track is available on the Pro and Max plans.
Does Caprix offer team or company accounts?
Yes. A Corporate account puts several estimators under one company account, with either a shared credit pool or a fixed allowance per seat.
