What is Caprix AI?
Caprix AI is an AI cost intelligence platform for the Malaysian construction industry. It brings two families of AI agents into one workspace: Cost Data Agents, which ask, estimate and track prices across Material, Labour and Machinery; and BOQ Agents, which build, price, check and export tender-ready Bills of Quantities.
Who is Caprix built for?

What are Cost Data Agents and BOQ Agents?
Cost Data AgentsAI Ask, AI Estimate and AI Trends — ask, estimate and track prices across Material, Labour and Machinery. BOQ AgentsAI Import, AI Draft, AI Compare, AI Review and AI Items — build, price, check and export tender-ready Bills of Quantities.
What does AI Ask do?
AI Ask lets you ask any rate question in plain language and get a clear answer, grounded in real Malaysian construction cost data. It uses 2 credits per query.
What does AI Estimate do?
AI Estimate turns a building type, location and target year into a defensible ballpark budget in seconds, presented as an elemental breakdown of the project cost. It is a Pro and Max feature and uses 5 credits.
What does AI Trends do?
AI Trends tracks how construction costs, tender prices and market indices have moved over time, so you can price your work with the trend in mind. It is a Pro and Max feature and uses 5 credits.
What does AI Draft do?
AI Draft lets you describe the works in plain words and get a structured, priced BOQ drafted for you to refine. A full draft uses 20 credits.
What does AI Import do?
AI Import lets you drop in an Excel or PDF bill and have AI read, structure and tidy it into a clean, editable BOQ. Excel import is free; PDF import uses 1 credit per 5 pages.
What does AI Review do?
AI Review checks your finished BOQ for missing trades, wrong units, and quantities or rates that look off. It uses 5 credits.
What does AI Compare do?
AI Compare benchmarks your rates against comparable projects so you can see where you sit — high, low or on the money. It starts from 10 credits.
What does AI Items do?
AI Items generates individual line items on demand and drops them straight into your bill. It uses 5 credits.

What cost data does Caprix cover?
Caprix works with Malaysian construction cost data across three categories: Material, Labour and Machinery.
Does Caprix track cost trends?
Yes. AI Trends tracks how construction costs, tender prices and market indices have moved over time, so your pricing can reflect the market. It is available on Pro and Max.

Bills of Quantities

Build, price, check and export SMM2 bills in the BOQ Builder (SMM3 coming soon).

Does Caprix support SMM2 and SMM3 Bills of Quantities?
Caprix builds, prices, checks and exports Bills of Quantities in SMM2 format. SMM3 support is in development and is not available yet.
What is the BOQ Builder?
The BOQ Builder is Caprix's workspace for building a Bill of Quantities — organised into bills and priced line items, with collections and carried-forward totals. You can draft with AI, import an existing bill, edit line by line, and export it.
Can I track addenda and variation orders?
Yes. Caprix lets you record changes to a bill as addenda and variation orders (VOs).
Can I import an existing bill?
Yes. With AI Import you can drop in an Excel or PDF bill and have it read, structured and tidied into a clean, editable BOQ. Excel import is free and PDF import uses 1 credit per 5 pages.
Can I export a Bill of Quantities to PDF?
Yes. PDF export is available on the Pro and Max plans. Building and saving a bill is free on every plan.

Is there a free plan?
Yes. Every account gets 50 credits that reset every month, with no credit card needed. AI Ask and the full BOQ Builder are available on the free plan; AI Estimate, AI Trends and PDF export are Pro and Max features. How does the credit system work?
Every AI action spends credits. AI Ask and rate lookups use 2 credits, AI Estimate and AI Trends use 5 credits each, AI Review and adding items to a section use 5 credits, AI Compare starts from 10 credits, and a full AI Draft uses 20 credits. PDF import and export use 1 credit per 5 pages. Pro includes 1,000 credits every 30 days and Max includes 2,500.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Paid plans renew every 30 days and you can cancel anytime from your account, keeping access until the end of the paid period.
